Lagos Bizman pleads guilty to producing,selling fake Moet

A 43-year-old businessman, Julian Madu, on Friday, pleaded guilty to a three-count charge bordering on distributing and and selling of fake Moet wine before a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos State.

Madu, who was arraigned before Justice Abdulazeez Anka, is a resident of 18, Offin Road, Oke-Arin, Lagos and he was dragged before the court by the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC).

The prosecutor had told the court that the accused committed the offence on March 16, 2015, adding that he was arrested at his residence at Oke-Arin area of Lagos where he engaged in the production of the fake Moet wine.
