EFCC arrests FUTA, AAU students for alleged N16m internet scam - PHOTO

Five suspected undergraduate scammers have been arrested by The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibadan Zonal Office over about N16million Internet fraud.
Four are from the Federal University of Technology Akure, (FUTA) and another from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba , (AAUA).

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a landlord, Gbade Metibemu, for allegedly stabbing his tenant of four months, Bright Abraham, to death on Apollo Street in the Makoko area of the state.
PUNCH Metro learnt that Metibemu attacked the 35-year-old Abia State indigene with a knife for refusing to vacate his plank apartment after a week-long disagreement.

11 burnt to death in Lagos ghastly motor accident - GRAPHIC PICTURES

Eleven people have been burnt to death in a ghastly motor accident that occurred on Otedola Bridge, Berger area of Lagos,around 6:10 pm on Thursday evening.

Two women were yesterday arrested in Oyingbo, Lagos, for using babies to beg for alms.
Three babies who are less than one month old were recovered from them.
Hadiza Nosiru and Salamotu Salitu were arrested by the monitoring team of Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development.
