A 49-year old man, Prince Cornell Demola has been arrested and charged before Isolo Magistrate court for allegedly defrauding a blind man to the tune of N280.000 in Lagos State, southwest Nigeria.
The blind man John Sunday suffered his fate after he approached Demola for assistance to secure accommodation for an apartment.

Couple found dead in apartment in Ondo

A man, Mr. Femi Oguntunwase, and his wife, Modupe,were found dead in their house in the new site area of Oba Ile town in the Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State.
A source in the town said the cause of the death of the couple had yet to be known, adding that their lifeless bodies were found on the floor of the sitting room of their apartment on Saturday...

NDLEA arrests passenger who hid 193 wraps of cocaine in his socks(Photos)

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) Lagos, have discovered one hundred and ninety-three (193) wraps of cocaine inside a passenger sucks.

A 17-year old Senior Secondary School (SSS) 2 student, Ruth Alabi narrowly escaped been killed for money ritual when her boy friend lured her to the herbalist residence at Olodo area of Ibadan before she was rescued by vigilante men .

The family of Police Inspector Michael Udoh Idiong attached to Ishielu Police Station, Ebonyi State Command, who was reportedly killed by a reckless lorry driver on February 19 this year has petitioned the Inspector General of Police, Mr Solomon Arase accusing the police and the hospital he was taken to of negligence leading to his death.

Police declares landlady wanted for setting tenant’s apartment ablaze(Photos)

Lagos police has declared Mrs Nike Azeez wanted for setting her tenant’s apartment ablaze in order to eject him from the house .
The police said they have arrested her husband Jamiu Azeez and detained him at Isheri Oshun division for his alleged involvement in the arson by his wife.
The police have also discovered ashes of burnt N250, 000 kept in the house by the victim Adeleke Shakiru.
