The Golden Eaglets on Monday retained their U-17 World Cup title after beating African champions Mali 2-0 in the final in Chile.
Victor Osimhen and Funsho Bamgboye struck in the 56th and 59th minutes to put Nigeria ahead.
Osimhen scored his 10th goal of the tournament breaking the record the by Florent Sinama-Pongole and Coulibaly, who scored nine goals each in previous tournaments.
This year’s final was the second all Africa final after Nigeria beat Ghana in 1993.
